This report claims as a call to action to finally untap the potential for photovoltaics (PV) on the continent, covering ten key markets on the African continent by giving an overview of countries and their market potential for PV as well as trends, opportunities and business models paving the way for the energy transition in Africa. Also, an investigation of key supporting policies and framework conditions for PV including self-consumption is implemented.
